Hi Everyone!
Mother’s Day is THIS weekend! Are you guys ready for it? If you need a last minute gift idea I have a GREAT one for you! It’s the Mother’s Day Limited Edition Glossybox.
I am a big fan of subscription boxes and love the idea of gifting them (I actually gifted my sister a subscription box for Christmas this past year). Glossybox is a Beauty subscription box, but the Mother’s Day edition is a Special Limited Edition Glossybox just for us mom’s for Mother’s Day!
I did receive this box at no cost in exchange for a review and this post does contain affiliate links. This doesn’t impact my opinion on the box or products. I always will give you my honest opinion on anything I share with all of you.
I love the idea of Gifting a Glossybox for Mother’s day and here’s why: As mom’s our time is completely booked. It’s filled with tending to every little need of the tiny humans we created. I absolutely wouldn’t change this for the world, but my “me-time” has certainly become almost non-existent.
Getting a fun beauty subscription box like the Mother’s day Limited Edition Glossybox gives mom’s everywhere a fun little surprise filled with beauty items we can use without having to hunt them down ourselves.
I’m not going to lie, I like browsing the isles of a beauty store as much as the next person. There are days though, where I would just rather someone do it for me so I can actually enjoy the facemask without using it while doing household work. Which usually results in my daughter laughing and asking what happened to my face.
*Enter the wonderful world of Subscription boxes like Glossybox.*
You can also think about gifting a three month (or more) subscription from Glossybox if you want to extend the fun of receiving beauty items!
Now that I’ve rambled on about my affinity for Beauty Subscription Boxes, lets dive into what was actually in this Limited Edition Glossy Box.
Mother’s Day Limited Edition Glossybox
Viktor & Rolf: This perfume is in the scent of Flowerbomb Vanilla Twist. It smells amazing and is something new you can use to customize your own flowerbomb scent. This is the twist oil that you highlight pulse points (like your wrist or neck) with this oil.
Full Size Item that normally cost $69.
Rodial Glamolash Mascara: This mascara promises to add some extra “oomph” to your lashes. Who wouldn’t want that?! It uses beeswax for lash conditioning. A tip for using this (or any other mascara) is that coating is key and can add to the “oomph” you are looking for!
Full Size Item that normally costs $28.
Babo Botanicals Lip Luminizer: I am a HUGE lip product fan. I just can’t get enough. The color I received was Brilliant Guava and I am in love with it. It doesn’t really have any kind of scent, but it’s a Vegan beauty product but it uses natural and Organic products which is always a win in my book!
Full Size Item that normally costs $18.95
Babor Lifting RX Bi-Phase Ampoules: I’m not going to lie, I initially had ZERO idea what this was for. I probably looked at the box for about 5 minutes reading it to see where you used it and what it was for exactly. The short explanation is that it has two parts that you shake together to combine that helps your skin feel smooth and velvety.
Full Size Item that normally costs $50.
Patchology Flashpatch Illuminating Eye Gels: I am most excited about this item. I have become quite the fan of masks and item like this for eyes. Maybe because I am in the thick of adjusting to a new baby who keeps me up at night and a toddler who keeps me busy during the day and my eyes look like it! These gel packs are filled with vitamin C and other extracts to help brighten and illuminate your eyes.
Full size item that normally costs $15.
Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging® Restructuring Bond Repair Leave-In Heat Protection Spray: That’s quite the name right?! This spray will work wonders for your hair though. It has caviar bond enforcing technology that protects, straightens and strengthens your hair.
Full size Item that normally costs $32
Overall Thoughts on the Mother’s Day Limited Edition Glossybox
I certainly liked all of the items in the box. There are some items I know I never would’ve tried absent them being in the box (like the Lifting RX from Babor) but I did really like all of the products. I do have an all time favorite item. The Patchology Illuminating eye gels! Oh my gosh I love them so much! They have a new customer right here! I also loved that the value of the box was definitely there for the cost ($40).
*UPDATE – the mother’s day box is currently Sold Out* However you can always gift a three, six or twelve month subscription. It’s a great way to ensure a little bit of fun as a gift every month!
