Hello Everyone!
I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to do this sponsored post. All opinions expressed are my own after trying it out myself!
As many of you know I am a self proclaimed crazy dog lady! Always have been and always will be.
I’m also a mama to a beautiful baby girl. The thing is, my daughter doesn’t like going in and out of stores and to be honest I don’t either. I used to love to, but I live in Michigan and it’s cold here. That means getting her in and out of her car seat multiple times, bundling her up because it’s freezing here, and making sure I packed enough snacks to get us through the store. It becomes so much more of a chore.
That’s why I love Meijer curbside pickup! It takes all of the hassle out of it. So I tried Meijer Curbside pickup with my dog food.
I am a firm believer that pets are family. My pups certainly act like it. They are fiercely protective of my daughter and are the best of friends. They are so much a part of my family they were how I even announced I was pregnant.
Like I said, my pups are my family.
One of my pups is named Ozzy (the one next to the shoes in the photo above) he is literally spring loaded and will stop at nothing to get a snack. One night we were cooking dinner (steak) and had it set out on the kitchen counter (first mistake that night). Thinking the food was safe we left the room to set the table (second mistake that night). Once we were done we came back into the kitchen to find Oz sitting on the Kitchen counter, eating some steak. Somehow an 18lb pup jumped from the ground to the kitchen counter all himself.
The little stinker.
Needless to say, I’m a big fan of real meat in the dog food I give my pups. So paying attention to the ingredients in the food I’m giving them is a must! #checkyourpetfood
Having real meat in the dog food I give my pups is a must! I’m always checking out the ingredients in the food I give them. This is why I love that Purina® Dog Chow and Purina® Beneful® have real meat in them. I purchased one bag of Purina Beneful Healthy Weight With Real Chicken Dog Food 15.5 lb and one bag of Purina Beneful Healthy Weight With Real Chicken Dog Food 31.1 lb for them while I was trying the Meijer Curbside pickup.
I love that the first ingredient listed is chicken!
It also makes for some happy pups!
How to use Meijer Curbside Pickup
I loved how easy it was to use the curbside pick up. All you do is log into you Meijer account, select your store, add items to your cart, and select a time to pick them up.
That’s it.
When you arrive to pick up your items there is a number you call to let Meijer know you’re there. They bring out your items, literally put them in your car (which is GREAT when your purchasing items like Purina® Dog Chow or Purina® Beneful®).
Then you pay for the items like you would in-store and drive home.
I couldn’t believe how fast and easy it was, perfect for me now that I’m a mom (and often times wish drive through existed everywhere). You can even make it easier by having them delivered to your door. Meijer works with a grocery delivery service called shipt. Be sure to check it out and see if it’s in your area because you can literally have your items delivered to your home!
As many of you know I’m all for a good deal so I just HAVE to mention the awesome M-Perks offer that runs through March 3rd. It’s for $1 off of Purina Dog Chow 32 lb bag or smaller and $1 off any size of Beneful Dog Food. You can check it out here. Which I totally used when trying out the curbside pickup!

I love this! It’s taking multitasking to the next level!! We don’t have a Meijer in Colorado, but should look into curbside with our King Soopers!

Oh my gosh I know! It’s like I can order my groceries in the morning, do everything I need to during the day, and then run out real quick pick up the groceries and skip all of the time I would’ve spent walking around the store grabbing the items!
